Lights! Motion Detected

My DH used to own a building that housed his business and had a nice apartment upstairs. He had it rented to a "friend" who got a dog, and left it cooped up all day while he worked. The dog barked all day long. Neighbors complained to DH, since he owned the building. He had a hard time getting the guy to take care of his dog. I think he finally gave the dog to his mom or someone. I felt sorry for the dog, but sure didn't want to take on the problem myself, either. A bark collar that emits a bad smell sounds like a good idea. Outside, anyway.

i had to use a bark collar on my Emma when i was doing travel nursing because she would start to bark and not quit till i got back some 12 hours later. she and i both hated it but it was better then having to get rid of her because the guy upstairs was having a stress stroke

Anyone ever tried one of these?? It hangs outside and (somehow) detects nusance barking, then emits a sound that is supposed to distract them or something to make them stop.

I wonder if it would work on a neighbor's dog????

If it did work, you'd have to be in a closer neighborhood where you could hang it right by your neighbors yard.

I could see it working out here if it shot heat seeking missiles.
Er...bark seeking missiles.
