This is what I got from the National Weather Service, for my area. May be a little earlier for you since you're another timezone over.

We're supposed to be under cloud cover, so I probably won't get to see it. :(

That's about the time line we have for our area, too. You would think the NWS would know how to spell "peaks" though, wouldn't you?

LOL, yeah, I would think that would require a 4-year degree. Good eye!

Well, too cloudy here. I keep looking just in case the clouds might break. But for now I am going to watch it online at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/nasa-msfc and http://www.skyandtelescope.com/astr...tch-this-months-lunar-eclipse-live-090320155/ . The NASA link is all TALK at the moment. I just want to see the moon, whatever color it currently is. :\

just came in from taking a look at it. this is around it's peak for us here and just as orange as that pic shows. i thought the moon would look bigger for some reason. :hu

Clear of clouds! Frost later ...

For some reason the neighbor's motion detection light is blazing but that's to the west.

You might think that the redness of the moon would inspire comments on how the Earth's atmosphere could benefit from less pollution so that its shadow would be a little darker.
