I'd let it ripen a bit first ...if you just put the poo in water I'd think it would be awfully strong...and it would burn your plants...but you could water it down like you would liquid fertilizer...

I'm told it needs to age too. Usually I just make compost tea with the aged poo mixed into that.

However, you can water directly with fresh diluted duck poo water :)

I made mine last year 6 weeks before I needed it. Stirred it every day and then decanted a small amount into the watering can and diluted the heck out of it. It smelled awful. The painters that I had here ended up accidentally stepping on the container of poo and water (surprisingly they didn't complain) so I only used it twice and didn't notice a big difference. Nothing died from it, though.

However, I am using duck pool poop water this year, diluted about 50%, and so far that's been working out great. The "pool" is a 55 gallon tub, and I have 4 big ducks in it. It gets changed twice weekly.
