MAYBE, St. Patrick's Day potatoes

You know when you see a potato sprouting in storage? ....like this?

I kept this one on the windowsill for a good MONTH before I planted it, January 19th, and then, this...

I count over 50 days to harvest. Wish me luck! I'll be dumping out the pot on St. Patrick's Day and see what I get!

Take the plant down to your neighborhood watering hole on St. Patrick's Day. In light of what so many people do by way of celebration, I'm sure you will get something fried in a basket and something in a glass, along side.
