The Firefly petunia is a new concept and it has been scientifically altered to glow in the dark by using a gene from a mushroom that naturally glows in the dark. I like these and well worth the extra cost just to light up for my great grandchildren as a sort of night light for a few minutes out in my garden. Giggles and happiness …the kids are excited. If this encourages on child to take an interest in horticulture then it has made my day.
