Some basil seed is going in the soil mix today and I was inspired by Baymule's topic on squash info.
Actually, Purdue may have info on basil too -- it is a great extension service! Well, yes, they do. You can find out what Purdue says about the crop by going to "home" as Bay' suggests.
Here is "Basil, An Herb Society of America Guide" and several other guides (click). The basil pdf is 40+ pages so it may take awhile to download.
I have trouble sorting out the Genovese basil cultivars since there are some that are resistant to fusarium wilt and have the strangest names!
