The key here is to watch the movies with your children. That way they become aware of your values and opinions. It does make a difference. As Beekissed says, even some of the best movies have issues that can be addressed.

In the real world, our children will face situations that need them to draw from our training to get through. Shielding them is not the best way. Exposing children to age appropriate books and movies with our input allows them to (hopefully) learn vicariously from the mistakes of others.

My children were in their teens and we still read together -- or at times I read what they were reading -- so values could be addressed together.

The girls are 17 - 14~ ~~~Have been schooled through an Australian School of Distance using the computers, we helped move this school move in to the computer age together with a very enlightened educator, they had for many years used short wave and mail to service the the out back.

We have been able to use alternate material when we questioned what was being offered~as we are aware of Creation.

Our oldest has graduated.

Thank you for coming by, we're on our way today to the lower place{for the day} to prepare for this season's planting .

It a pleasure to meet and cut up touches with people/friends who share so much with our way of life.
