If I can speak of Carol's comment -- we are much of the same mind -- those donkeys are the only type of mini donkeys Nyboy should consider for his country property. They are ideal for a weekend farmer and so much more appropriate than the mini donkey he brought up after seeing it on CL in another thread.

Nyboy is a sweetheart and a total softy when it comes to needy animals. He may be depending upon this group of enablers to keep his head on straight when it comes to bringing additional strays onto his property.

Carol (and now me) was just trying to be of help.

I was about 10 years old when my uncle who lived 3 houses away bought these. He had them in his front yard for years. When my uncle died they became mine. View attachment 18369View attachment 18370
My friend had 2 live donkeys...or maybe mules. She got them for free....gave them away after a few years. She said they had to have continual hay or they would bray constantly.
