I'm so excited!! :weee

I dug up THREE red potatoes today!!! My first EVER!!! :throw

Now...I seem to remember (& I'm too lazy to search right now) that I need to let them kinda "dry out" before eating/storing...is that right? In the shade or sun? For how long?

Ooooh, they look good, too!!!

Congrats!

I've let them sit on my deck for a sunny hot afternoon and have let them sit in my garage in the dark on old sheets for a couple of days. Both methods seem to have worked for me.

Pretty much! When they are fresh and 'new' they are so very creamy tasting to me. When I store them, they lose that new flavor. So eat some up, and enjoy your spoils of war in the garden! hahaha
