My giant sunflower

A few years ago I started a giant sunflower journey.. I had some friends and family all plant some giant flower seeds I sent them. Unfortunately the rabbits feasted on mine but my brother in NJ got an awesome crop and shared his seeds with me which made them 2nd generation. This year i got one and I’m drying it now for some 3rd generation seeds.. They make me smile and it’s been fun sharing 🌻

These look to be Maximilian sunflowers which are the only perennial sunflower that I know of.
