I planted squash (both zucchini and yellow) from seeds and started plants about 3.5 weeks ago and they look sad. Haven't grown much and the leaves are yellowy-green. What are they needing?

The bed was new this year. They are raised beds 10 inches deep. I filled them with half reclaimed potting soil and half garden soil with horse manure.

We have been having some cold nights (into the 40s) which is not common for this time of year.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

It may be the cold. My pumpkins were pathetic last year. Can you protect them from the cold and wind with glass?
