2. Someone names a cultivar, such as Nantes coreless carrot.
3. The next person has to name a cultivar of the same or a different vegetable starting with the LAST LETTER of the cultivar in the previous post.
For Nantes coreless carrot, we might have a reply of Thai hot pepper.

The reason I called this the catalog game is that you can pick out cultivar names by using your seed catalogs. (kudos to those expert enough to do it off the top of their heads)
I just opened my Bakers Creek catalog to a random page so the first cultivar is -BULLS BLOOD BEET.
