Parasitic nematodes work quite well on cutworms and other insects that stay close to or just under the surface. Be sure not to use them in ground that gets dry at any time of the year. Drought will kill them. They can sometimes be difficult to get established but once they are they will be with you for a long time. They will not attack earthworms.
