Today I cross-pollinated these Phalaenopsis orchids. With such beautiful parents, the offspring should be interesting, but it will be quite some time before I can expect to see the results.

With genetics you can never tell what a cross like that will do, but you are right, it will be interesting.

Right, it could be a blue ribbon winner, or, an ugly duckling. As I crossed each with the other, you might say I double crossed them.
