Welcome, fellow Missourian, from the Cape Girardeau area. I re-read your post to see if you have critters that are used to create compost material....looks like at least your pigeon litter can be used to make compost, depending on the bedding, etc. All the more reasons to get chickens again! Yes, January is the best time to pour over the seed catalogs and do the planning. Have fun!
