Well, after asking many of your thoughts about small greenhouses and after researching till my head hurt, I bought a Ploy-TeX NAtural '6 x '8 Greenhouse. Got a great price and I feel like it is much better built than the Harbor Freight model. With the wind we get, I think I would be chasing panels. Not so with this model! Sturdy! Locked together tight! Panels locked in! Swinging door. One vent (other side in pic). We shall see how it holds up.

Now it is on to my new raised beds, herb garden, cold frames and potting bench!

You are going to love having a greenhouse. I have a heated greenhouse attached to the house where I start my seedlings. I also have a large tunnel greenhouse where I plant directly into the soil to extend my season at either end. I started cold weather crops in the soil in February and some of them are growing. Lettuce spinach, etc. I just planted lettuce and broccoli seedlings in over the weekend and they are doing well. Have you bolted the greenhouse down into a footing? Ours has corkscrew type anchors and it still moves around. It is a tunnel however and not as sturdy in the wind as yours. Have fun.

Base is staked down and greenhouse is screwed to base. As you can see, it is pretty protected, so it should be ok. High winds today (on day after building it) have not really even shaken it. If I see ANY movement, I am going to buy some of those corkscrew anchors! Thanks!

It's for my wife and she LOVES it!

:thumbsup

That's really great! You'll enjoy that a lot!

I looked up the poly-tex webpage. They have a really cool little cold frame I'm thinking about now instead of building one, only 60 clams!
