This year I'm going to try some experimental things (for me anyway) popcorn, oats and patio fruit trees.
If the oats are sucessful, I'm sure I'll be back here to find out how to process them......

Hi - I'm new to this and BYC. Just found both tonight. I'm in the wide spot in the road called Ava, Ohio. About 12 miles south of Cambridge. I'm a city girl (Cleveland/Akron) who moved to 10 acres and an old farmhouse 7 yrs ago.
It's just me and the kids: 3 old eng sheepdogs, 1 great dane, 1 min poodle, 12 cats, 1 bunny, 10 pygmy goats, 9 pekins, 14 barred rock, 20 golden comets, 7 asst'd cochin banties, 1 seabright rooster, 1 unknown clean-leg banty roo. Guess I went nuts when I left the city!
