Hi everybody. I've been fiddling around with avatars for a while tonight and I think I finally figured it out. Some of you told me that my dad used to change his avatar once in a while and a few weeks ago I found a bunch of little (avatar size) pictures of people smiling here on dad's computer. I assume he had these sized to be used here on TEG.

Soooooooo I think I will try to keep up the tradition by changing my avatar once in a while, too. Do you folks think it's a good idea or do you think it's somewhat tacky since dad has passed away?

Smiles, I think it's a great idea! I had noticed that you had changed your avatar on another post and it made me smile cause your dad used to do that! :)

Seeing his new avatar always caught me by surprise.

What ever you decide to do, we're all for you! Your dad was well liked and so are you. I just think it is so cool that you moved in the house and are going to live there.

I bet more than once you catch yourself thinking about something your dad would know the answer to and now you are asking yourself why you never asked him when you had the chance. I know I do and my dad has been gone over 20 years. You will be surprised though, how much you absorbed just being around him. The good part for both of us is right here on TEG. Somebody will have the answer to your questions and be glad to help.

I love the idea of changing your avatar from time to time. This is now your choice and your garden home. Please feel free to do what you wish -- use any of Dad's smiles or find some of your own.
