I am going to enter question if plants can safely go out mid May when should seeds be started

I start them in late Feb. or early march. Too early but I can never wait. I don't mind a tall plant because I plant them deep.

Cat your closer to my zone. My old Italian aunt taught me same plant tomatos very deep

Major just sent me some seed. Too early for me to plant yet. So...I will not have the first tomato but likely the prettiest.

More so if you plant them in a day lily bed.....those tomatoes would have no choice but to be beautiful!

Had a little trouble with seeds no surprise nothing runs smoothly for me. The seed packages where in a brown paper bag on my desk, I need room and put bag on floor. When I went to mail they where gone. I realize I place next to trash can, when trash was empty bag was next and must have been thrown out also. I got new seed last night will be in mail this weekend
