For any green-fingered enthusiasts living in or around Norfolk there is a Garden Show taking place at the Showground 24-26 August.
It's usually filled with hundreds of garden shopping stands ranging from plant nurseries and larger companies, to smaller more interesting businesses specialising in things like meadow seeds, home chicken farming or willow sculptures.
Last year there was a 'How to' marquee with some talks & demos taking place as well as a floral display marquee where a local flower club held a design competition which was rather nice - so hopefully there will be something like that again this year.
Also a Fun Dog event opens on the same showground on the Sun-Mon which is free to enter for all garden show ticket holders - but if you don't like dogs then you can also go to the Garden show on the Saturday and avoid all that.
We're signed up to the emails so get a lot of ticket deals through and have even won free tickets in the past, so works out as a great day-out if you can save some money on entry (means you can spend more once inside).
