Since we have been talking about growing pumpkins I think we need this guy to join our forum and tell us how it's done.

Stillwater, Minn. - In a celebration of all things Autumn, a new world record for the world's largest pumpkin was set in Stillwater on Saturday. The pumpkin was grown by Chris Stevens of New Richmond, Wis., and weighed in at 1810.5 pounds.

That's cool! :cool: I'd wondered about growing them myself. Maybe we should have a pumpkin contest on here next year. :D

My husband talked to a guy who had the winning pumpkin in one of our local fairs last week. He said there's a lot of money in selling the seeds. $20 a seed!
