I got two raised beds ready tonight and I am planning on planting next week. Just lettuce, cabbage, onions and hopefully broccoli which isn't quite big enough yet but hopefully it goes out in 2-3 weeks. I already did the math, figuratively and I am going with it. It is early for here, I had to cover plants on May 20th, 3 years ago. But every year is different and you have to let Mother Nature be the boss. This year I think she is saying lets get on with this already, just so long as Jack Frost stays on his European vacation. :fl

I'm a 3b-4a now. Of course I live in a town on the cusp of 2 zones, heaven forbid I get to do cut-and-dried plant selection.

I've got some lovely cauliflower starts that need some more room. Maybe this weekend.... I guess I could get burned, but I'm really feeling like spring is here. The birds are back, the peepers are peeping - I think it's here!
