Hello,
I have been trying for a couple of years to find some of these heirloom seeds. It is the only bean that my family has ever grown. A few years ago my Dad became ill and neither he nor I got a garden planted. He has since passed and when I found his seed stash, they were too old to be viable. I did find some from a place in Canada that sold them as Oregon Giant, and they do look like them but do not taste like them. Does anyone know of this variety?

Hello. Welcome to the forum :frow.

This may/may not be of help:

I should probably have waited until the bean growers in 2025 can respond but many of them stay rather close to each year's bean thread and may miss this. You will see this year's thread in the Fruit & Vegetables subforum. TEG has an easy to use Search.

Thank you so much for your response. I have checked out the thread and looks like their list of seeds will not be available until the first of the year so I shall wait and keep my fingers crossed.
Kindest Regards,
Karen
