Out of my six broccoli plants, they only eat one.

I've seen them. It's not at "infestation" level yet, but they're there. No doubt it's worms.

I believe them to be cabbage loopers, as I first mistook them for some sort of inchworm because of their movement.

The rain is supposed to cease this evening. I think I'll try some DE dust on them tonight.

Sorry, I misread. I thought you had found the green worms on the other plants but not on the one that had been eaten down. I'll go back to sleep.

I haven't ever found any worms on that one, but that could well be because there aren't any leaves left to eat! lol

TSC had an multi-purpose pest/antifungal spray yesterday containing Neem oil.

Is anyone familiar with that? Does it work well?

I have used Neem oil for indoor gardening before and was happy with the results.

I am not sure it will control worms though. (?) Will have to read up on that.

I've used neem oil . . . it didn't do anything that they said it would do.

It didn't repel thrips; it didn't kill aphids; it didn't stop the progression of mildew; and - I got a rash on my arms!

For an all-around insecticide, I use Rotenone/Pyrethrin. It kills most bugs altho' insecticidal soap works better on aphids (in my experience).
