I live in the panhandle of florida, wondering if anyone has any ideas of what winter crops do well here? From what little reasearch I've done, September will be the time to plant, so gotten get this thing going! This will be a first year so any and all ideas will be great!!!! Thanks!

Welcome! Welcome! We've got some Floridian's on this site- I am sure they will chime in. I am in cold upstate NY- so I usually plant snow for my fall garden! Good luck!

Welcome, I'm just a bit further north then you are, so I don't plant winter crops here. I do grow some lettuce in my mini-green house... but that's about it here. ;) Good luck!

Lettuce, spinach, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts all appreciate cool weather, as does garlic.
