Do you know WHY we all enjoyed "Jurassic Park," (the book and movie) so much?
It could happen.
Just because we CAN do something, doesn't mean we should do it.
On our vacation I saw something great--South Dakata's Black Hills are cleared of dead debris. They rake them into pyramids, then wait until the dead of winter to burn them. In 1989 there was a terrible forest fire there. Now, you see signs that say,
"Do you like your forest green (pics of pretty, green forest,)
Or well-done (pics of burnt trees like a char-broiled steak.)
They could give California a good lesson.
But, we found ourselves asking,
"Why don't they harvest all of this pine and make paper out of it?"
