Anybody got any info? I went to the library and they have one growing in the herb garden. It is just magical. I think I need one. I even found a local nursery with a couple of them. I saw a purple and a reddish one. I have also heard that they are invasive. Ok thanks-

I love them!
Do I grow them? No to fast for me to keep up with!
Invasive is really a point of view with such plants.
Some people are also sensitive to there leaves, causing reactions.

Again they are one of the finest flowers,IMO, but need to be used with insight.

Yes, they are a little invasive...but worth it, I say! Such delicate and unusual flowers. You can eat the fruit if you are so inclined, but not much to it (seeds are formed kinda like pomegranate). I have some that volunteer every year that were planted by the lady who owned this house before me. I enjoy them. The bumblebees do too!

when hurricane hugo hit in 89 these vines went crazy and now my mother cannot get rid of them and we had never even seen these plants before then

they are awesome flowers but will spread quickly and will cover a fence in no time

the ones my mom has in her yard are pink

I love my passionflower, it grows over & around my front door. It gets a bit out of hand in a wet warm summer but it is easy enough to cut back! :D

I have to grow the "Blue Crown" variety because it is the only one which will cope reliably with our winters in my part of the UK. It fruits very well but they are not really edible, unfortunately.

Here is a site with lots of info on the different types:
