Hey folks!

My school has a great greenhouse setup and they also produce many varieties of fruit trees. They mostly sell in February according to my plant science instructor, but they have a few leftovers from this past year. The nectarine variety they have is Fantasia and the peach variety is Elegant Lady. I was wondering if anyone had heard of them and if you have anything good, or bad, to say about them. They're only $10/tree and he told me he'd give me a deal on them, so if they're good I definitely do not want to pass it up.

Thanks,
Jordan

I'm not an expert, by any stretch, but i do know that local chill hours can be the difference between a great peach tree and a wasted piece of real estate. The elegant lady requires 350-450 chill hours (or so i googled), so make sure your area fits.

Way to go on $10 fruit trees! I hope they all work out for you!
