Hi,
Here is my very first ever Peach Pie. Sadly since this picture was taken (yesterday), the pie no longer is with us. It was a tragic tale of love and betrayal.
I do hope the 'smell-a-vision' is working on your computers. Enjoy!
I have two peach trees. One is early, typically late May/early June; the other peach tree is later in August. So I get two peach seasons. The first peaches (these) are tart, and the late peaches are freestone and are very sweet (margarita style peaches)
Yumm, I cannot wait to do another one. Blanching the skins in boiling water was fun, but I have to admit a Peach Pie is a lot more work than an Apple Pie.
Ron
