Anyone got a favorite recipe for pickling them? DH loves them and we have been buying tons and tons, so I was hoping to find a way to put up our own that taste similar to what we buy.

I pickled some peppers using the Ball book recipe and they were very vinegary. They weren't pepperoncini, they were hot peppers.
This came up in another thread, the problem with the vinegary taste. Sorry, I know that doesn't give you an answer. I'm just babbeling.
