Cabin Fever! There is too much snow covering my garden, so I was looking through pics from last year to cheer myself up.

Those are beautiful! How did you get the Veronica broccoli to work for you? I tried that variety last year (mine was called Romanesco) and it did nothing. Beautiful plants, 1 splindly broccoli-raab-like stalk... Are there any tricks to it?

I don't know - pretty much I did everything wrong last year (this year will be better!) and it grew.
Did you plant from seed or start plants inside?
Also, I planted really, really early in the Spring. Some frosted off, because we got a suprise storm with 3 inches of snow.
They can't handle the summer heat.

They are gorgeous! :p Making me hungry... like I'm not impatient enough for spring.

Those are gorgeous varieties.... I may have to try them one year.

I planted them inside midsummer and planted outside late summer/fall. The regular broccoli did great, the Romanescos and cauliflower did nothing :( Anyway, great beauties!
