Why did I not know of this Pineapple Sage flavor? How is it best used?
Oh it's delicious in cold or hot tea. Wait till it blooms! The pollinators absolutely love it, especially hummingbirds!

For tea I took 1 cup of fresh leaves and placed then in a half gallon mason jar and poured hot water over it. Let it steep for 15 minutes (I usually added few leaves of crushed up stevia to sweeten it), strain and enjoy warm or place in fridge to drink as iced tea. Soooooo good!

Later in the season take some cuttings and root them and once they establish strong roots you can stick them in potting soil and keep it by a bright window and it will grow all winter. Water as needed and fertilize very little.

Also dry leaves store well for use in winter for tea. Have fun! It's one of my favorite tea herbs!
I have enjoyed cooking with it already. It rained 2.5" so I am not walking into the garden. Here is a picture of the plant though.
