I have now 2 pineapple orange trees and have not seen any flowers yet. My meyer lemon already has lemons started and my naval orange has blums and oranges starts. Is my pineapple orange trees going to take more time or what?

What zone are you in?

How old are the trees?

What type of soil do you have?

Did the tree flower and then drop the flowers just not flower at all?

I've read up a little on the variety and like most citrus it needs very well drained soil and good fertilizing. Also, it is very susceptible to cold even more so than other oranges. Full sun is also required.

Heavy soils without proper drainage will not allow roots to grow as deep as they need to and may stunt growth.

We are in Zone 8. The soil well drained. We just bought the trees, not sure about the age of them. They did not have any flowers on them. They are in full sun. The trees stand about 4 ft. tall.
