Loved the Little Ghost, Ron!

With the season approaching.., you may want to throw a little Dill in your pocket too.
It is said to ward off witches and evil. If the true love thing fails at least it will be someone nice who won't turn you into a toad...

A necklace of Peony seeds will accomplish the same... and provide a fashionable accessory also.
There ya go Blackbird, a great use for any left over peony seed...:ya

If all else fails... wear a daylily or poppy to alleviate your sorrow and forget your troubles...

My son's festive decor ...to impress his new neighbors... :frow

How fun!

Another one I heard is "if you hang Spanish Moss around your home that no one will be able to break-in".

I used to keep Spanish Moss around my windows in San Antonio, TX, and no one ever broke in! This house is a different story! YIKES!

Does anyone grow it in their gardens?

Here is a picture of some in a garden setting. :coolsun

I think Spanish Moss is beautiful! :love

*runs off to find a cool story*

OK, found something interesting:

Celery seeds
The seeds were eaten by witches before flying so that they wouldn't become dizzy and fall off their broomsticks.

Ragwort stalks
According to legend, the stalks of this plant formed the basis for magical flying brooms.

Well, that's one I surely can't grow here.
But when I visited SC a few years ago I was in AWE at it's mystical beauty! Got to see some HUGE SPIDERS in it too... I sure wouldn't go near it!

A little lemon balm tea, or even just the scent may help you with your phobias and anxiety ...
caused by the evil spirits, witches, thieves... or even SPIDERS ... :woot

Wow... spanish moss grows on its own in a lot of older trees in the south. Try driving down the old highways in South Carolina... it is everywhere!!!

I do see it quite a bit here too though. :/ Don't know how I feel about it, but I have a tree in my yard that could use some. LOL

Does a rolling stone gather no moss?

I never thought to put moss in a basket!
It is in every oak tree around here. If people don't clean it out from time to time it will choke the oak.

Off to gather moss for baskets, this will look so cool.
Thanks for the idea Ron.

OK...boy this box is going to get HUGE by Spring, but I have to have some Spanish Moss!! I am serious! I love this stuff and now that I will have a Greenhouse I can keep it alive.

A must! Put this on my list! :bow Not too much, just enough to fill a baggie (but pick it fresh before shipping; Spring). :bee

.....ahhhhh, I feel a great 'lifting' sensation as if I just obtained the rarest most treasured plant on Earth! Isn't it wonderful! :love

I can use it like packing peanuts.
I think I need to right this stuff down, better yet you keep track of the things you like and I will ask you for the list. How does that sound?
Ask Hi I can get a lot of stuff in a box!
