I got 5 of them for 2 bucks each at Lowes today. Now I was trying to avoid Lowes cause I almost never leave empty handed but. at 2 bucks how could I resist. So I planted them on the side of the house in a shady spot. If I could find my camera I would put pics but I can't remember where it is at for like 2 months.

How do you get all the bada$$ good deals at lowe's!!!??? I swear... you make me nutz... I always stop there and look and I find NOTHING! Everything is always full price, even the dying stuff.

i have no clue, how I get stuff. But I try to stop by there every two weeks or so (it often coincides with my paycheck ) just to check what they have. I guess mine likes to mark stuff down.

vfem, it is ALL about the management!! We have 7 Walgreens stores in town--how does 120K population warrant that many?
One of them is uber cheap and won't help you much. Many others behave pretty well--there was a manager at one who saw me looking at some clearance dishes, asked me if I wanted them, and gave me all 13 dishes at ten cents each.
Are there any other hardware stores in your area, like a Home Depot? I bet there are garden centers or super-grocery stores with seasonal garden centers happy to dump their extras for cheap. EXCEPT, nobody is allowed to re-price "Bonnie" vegetables. They make their plants go kamikazi!!
