posting pics...

Hi,
i'm trying to post a few pictures of my garden but i'm not sure how to post them. I did use this:

You can't post pictures if the location is on your computer. It only works if it is online set on a server location. So you much upload your images from your computer online, to a site like photobucket.com and then use the link that the image is posted at to use in the [ img ] tag. I use my own server to host mine.

Actually, if you look at the top of the page in the forum controls, there's a button called 'Uploads'. You can upload quite a few photos, up to 20 megs worth, and host them right here on the TEG server, the forum software will automatically resize them, but I usually do it myself. I don't use this tool, though, I host my images on my own server, but that's just me (I dislike the photo hosting sites, they're very slow sometimes).

ya.. what they said..

but as a testimony .. the uploads button is pretty easy..

after you have uploaded there is a little My Uploads at the bottom right corner of the box.. That is where you find them after you uploaded them.. (I couldnt find them for a while)

I finally figured out how to post the pictures. The only other concern i might have soon is more space on the uploads to post more pictures.

Well, that's when you go to one of the photo sites like Photobucket - or host your own on your own web space (most ISP's provide webspace per account).
