i have a short butterfly video I’d like to share but wasn’t sure if the site supports that or if they’re wanted or not.. I suppose I could post it to YouTube and provide a link..? Just wanted to check.. thanks!

i think posting a link to a youtube vid is ok. 
We don't support video uploads directly to TEG (yet), so go ahead and upload to youtube (or a host of other video sites) and then you can embed the videos using the "media" button:
