Preventing Damping Off?

I've been misting mine once a day with the tea. Found the instructions in a book that has temporarily disappeared. They recommended the misting to inhibit the fungus on the surface and also recommended adding it to the water when watering from the bottom.

I think the recipe was 10-12 teabags to 1/2 gal of water. Boil for 20 minutes, turn off the fire and let it stand for a couple of hours. Then strain and serve

I will give that a try. The fan seems to be working, but I have tried cinnamon in the past and it did not seem to help a lot.
