purple leaves on tomato plants

Is it a phosphorus deficiency? of something else?

It is a bit dry, but they are mulched and the soil isn't dry.

Thank you! I will add magnesium, hopefully they will get better.

The magnesium may be in the soil but deeper than the water is getting so it isn't being taken up. Try adjusting a hose to a bare trickle and leave it at the base of the plants for several hours so your water gets deep.

They are in pots now, because it is to hot to grow tomato's outside in the sun.

They are in Miracle Grow Organic potting mix.

The purple is going away, how long should it take to recover?
