I am not sure I want to do the foodsaver bags. I have over 1000 jars. I am not talking of warming the jars, just dehydrating the food in the dehydrator and putting in canning jars with the lid and ring on, but not sealing them. I am looking into if there is any reason to use the foodsaver sealer attachment for jars and if I did use the foodsaver attachment, is it really safe. I figure it is safe, but 10% moisture from the LDS site, has some people worried and my friends who want to buy a dehydrator want to know how long it will last. I have several friends wanting to take frozen food out of freezers and dehydrating, but not if it will not last at least 2-3 years and I am that way too about my freezer stuff.
