Rambling on Street View

Love, love, love Google street view! It helped us enormously when we moved here and had to find places and also get an idea of an area BEFORE going to view properties

@digitS' just for grins, I'M on there somewhere as well. Happened to be in the wrong place at exactly the right time some time ago in S.A. and got caught by the Google team filming their street view of the area we were in. And no, I can't recall the area any more

I've just learned that Bing maps have "Streetside."

If the Bing webpage loads "Roads," hover the cursor over that word in the upper right corner. Pop-up allows you to click "Streetside."

It may help to have an address in the search but once I'm on Streetside, I can only move so far down a road. Then, it does this shuffle, back & forth.
