On BYC there is a thread of random pictures. Pictures of just about anything. Some are taken by the people who post, alot are 'found' laying around somewhere. I didn't see where there was anything here like that so I thought I'd start one.

You got that right. But unfortunately backyard chickens, canning, gardening, having an emergency/rainy day fund, and not using credit to buy things, common sense and budgeting lack the marketing power that things like smart phones and Facebook have.
