I just got back from visiting a friend that I've convinced to try gardening this year.

Last week I gave her some neem based spray to spray her plants with, because they were covered with aphids.

Yay! The aphids are now dead.......but she told me that she usually sprays her garden in the middle of the day. :barnie Noooooo!

I explained to her that sprays that are super safe for humans/organic/whatever are still deadly to bees. :bee
Bees have a hard enough time staying alive - we don't need to kill them!

She promised to spray in the evening from now on. :thumbsup

We got neem to spray on our plants when we got aphids. We did it at night since we did not want the leaves/plant to get burned by having the neem oil on it and in the sun, and also to try not too put it on when bees are around.
