Roses in November " Sharifa Asma"

I love this David Austin rose. I have it in a wine barrel and has been doing well.

Ooh, pretty. Kind of reminds me of "Heritage" but a little more apricot. How does it smell?

Yeah, I want to know if it's fragrant also.

@so lucky , does Marys rose look apricotty to you? It looks like true pink on my monitor....

Smells wonderful! I had Heritage once and took it out. It's color was too pale in the garden. It is a beautiful rose though.

Just saw that I hadn't posted my comment above. Forgot to hit the post button. It's more of a soft deep pink color.

I got this rose last year. The 3 that I got this year or still small bushes. I don't know why. They should be bigger than that.

@thistlebloom, Maybe the Heritage was more blueish in the pink. Just slightly different.

You don't have any trouble with the roses getting mummified before they open? I can't remember the disease, but it seems to affect those really double blooms.

I don't know what mummified means. I do have buds that open a little and then kind of rot. This usually happens in December and January, probably due to the cold weather.
