WW2, all my cousins , old enough joined the forces, both girls and boys, girls in the army, boys in the army, navy and air force. My cousin Wes was a pilot he flew between England and Holland. The local barber and family friend was killed overseas. Not a very happy time in history.

She wasn't~ I don't think~ she was all of em```

My oldest sister worked at good year~ they were coating Airplane Fuel Tanks with a rubbery stick um~ so if shrapnel or non incendiary round hit the tank~ it would seal~ they removed the bubbles from the gum coating with Hypodermic needles soldered to copper tubes```
