I am an insomniac so I get up and watch weird science shows with the voice down low to lull me back to sleep. Aliens, Appalachian creatures, and BIGFOOT. There are reported sitings all over the world. A scientist claims to have over 100 DNA tests proving bigfoot is a species. I tell my husband I hope aliens are false and hope Bigfoot is real. There are 2 reported sitings even in Massachusetts. Now I would not want to actually SEE one. Too chicken for that! So would we leave them in peace if they turned out to be real? Poor things would probably end up in zoos.

For the mtdna to be the same as human haplotype in a hybrid sample, the female ancestor would be modern human, the male ancestor would be "other" but close enough related. But, the article says otherwise. It needs further investigating.
