self pollinating?

Can you Self Pollinate your apple/cherry trees that require pollinizers?

If you mean there are no bees around when the tree blossoms, I imagine you could use the paint brush method. like greenhouse growers sometimes are required to do.

If you mean that your trees are not self pollinating, and need another tree nearby of the same or similar type to pollinate? I suppose if you had a friend that had a tree, you could try picking some blossoms, and taking them home, and then using the paint brush method.

I have a yellow plum tree, that I believed would produce poorly, so I bought a Italian plum. Now they can help each other. :)
