I planted purple hull peas 2 1/2 weeks ago....... the day before a GREAT BIG FLOOD hit our area. It rained for DAYS and the garden stood in water for about 3 days. It stayed wet for about another week before drying out. Off and on rains have kept the area pretty damp without the need for additional water. Only about 10 plants have sprouted. They sprouted over a week ago and there hasn't been another plant come up since. I just wonder if I should go ahead and replant,, or give it another week? What would you do? LOVE this forum! I am learning so much! Thanks for all of your posts!

They might come up later, but I think I would go ahead and poke a few more in there just to be sure.

You might be surprised where they come up!! They might have floated away.... I would reseed. My peas did a lot of traveling this spring!

Yeah, I kind of figured they might have floated away.... :(

I guess if it dries up any this weekend and i still don't see any sign of them I will replant.

Thanks for the replies!
