I went spot prawn fishing this past weekend and we caught 155 prawns! We made sushi, Mediterranean Shrimp, Thai Seafood Pasta, and shrimp tacos! We sent a gallon ziplock of them home with our daughter! They are so yummy!

Those look great @Dahlia; when we were still boating and catching spots we cooked them many ways and along the way discovered that a little ground Nutmeg was a perfect fit with the shrimp.

@AMKuska, up here shrimp are caught by dropping pots to the ocean floor in 400-900ft. of water. A canister of bait draws them in. Think “deadliest catch” on a smaller scale AND without the drama!
That sounds a lot like we catch blue crab in the Gulf of Mexico but in a lot shallower water. Down here people catch shrimp by pulling a net behind a boat.

A neighbor had a camp on a strait that had a current running through it. He rigged up a net that he could drop in that current and leave it for a while. He was mainly after shrimp but sometimes caught blue crab or fish when he pulled it up.

This is one thing I miss about living on the east coast, fresh sea food. But don't get ole CC out on a boat in the ocean, unless you want to clean the deck 🤢 my stomach can't take all those rolling waves.

Jesus is Lord and Christ 🙏❤️🇺🇸
