I saw one of my cats running in from a hay field with something large and writhing in his mouth. It wiggled so it fell out of his mouth. It was the biggest tomato horn worm I have ever seen. He did not let it escape, played with it as cats do. I have not had a problem with them this year-just lucky I guess.

I hate those things too! One night DH and I were watching a reality show and to get to the next level, the challenge was to eat tomato horn worms, chew them up! That's when this 'ol gal would have told the producers, see 'ya! EEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:sick Even watching people do that kind of stuff make me nauseous. I can't imagine someone trying to get me to do it, even for a giant wad of cash!

EEEW :sick (on the fear factor thing). I haven't seen any hornworms on my tomatoes this summer. It's been a weird summer, but that's one thing I can't complain about.
